One of our counselors will discuss your issues with you live, via a private chat room. This counseling program is designed to give you exposure to counseling when you may not otherwise seek counseling. By using this service, you maintain complete anonymity and privacy. You have the convenience of having your appointment from the comfort of your home, office, or wherever you have a computer hooked up to the world wide web. Counseling Associates of New England is handled much like a private practice office. You schedule your appointment time, enter your password at scheduled time and begin communicating live with one of our counselors. Once again, these chat rooms are private. This is no gimmick; you will talk live with a professional, certified, trained counselor. This program can be successful in individual or in group settings. Also helpful for hearing impaired.

There may be those of you who would like the advice of a professional counselor but do not want to chat live with one. You may submit a question via Email to our staff, and we will respond back to you via Email within 48 hours. Of course, regular office visits and consultations are always available, just contact us and we will be happy to schedule an in office appointment

How to use the Counseling Associates of New England Service

In order to use the services provided by Counseling Associates of New England you must first register as a new client and obtain credit approval. In the registration process, you will be asked to provide credit card information . After registration, credit must be approved before using Client Services area. Approval will be made via email in 48 hours or less. You must have instant messenger installed on your computer, if you do not have this program, it is very easy to install and is available for free here. Once you have been approved and installed the software we can begin. When your scheduled appointment time arrives just get online, and you will be invited to join a private chat room.

We realize that counseling in this format does not allow for all the elements normally used in counseling and assessments of each individual (i.e.; body language, expression and tone of voice, etc.) What Counseling Associates of New England intends to offer is brief counseling to those who may not otherwise seek assistance. It will always be our practice that if an individual expresses severe issues or needs extensive counseling or psychiatric care, the individual will be referred to a mental health provider in his/her area for further assistance.
